Festive Food & Craft Market at Mount Stuart
Sunday 5th December, 11am – 4pm
Situated within the stunning setting of Mount Stuart, sample and purchase locally produced food and craft. Entry to this event is free.

We charge  £990 per night for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for up to 12 guests on an exclusive use basis. This guarantees no rooms will be let to anybody outside of your party.
We can accommodate up to 14 Dinner guests, so if you like you can invite non-residents to Dinner as detailed below at £35 per head.

Our extensive breakfast menu includes the “Full Scottish” or variations on the theme (you may not be partial to haggis in the morning)

Dinner is a sumptuous buffet served in our conservatory. The table will include roasted local meat, locally caught langoustines when available, tasty vegetarian dishes, seasonal vegetables, interesting salads and our own home made bread with local cheeses. Finish off with a tasty pudding or two!
We are not licensed so you may bring your own drinks – we don’t charge corkage!

The principal route to the island is by car & passenger ferry from Wemyss Bay. The crossing takes half an hour with sailings every 45mins at peak times. Wemyss bay can be reached by car or train from Glasgow Central station or Paisley station if you are flying into Glasgow International Airport. There is no need to book. Just turn up with at least 10mins to spare. A ticket seller will come to your car for your fare. You can download timetables for both routes by Clicking Here

FINDING MUNRO’S

Munro’s is about 1½ miles from the main ferry terminus in Rothesay. From the traffic lights at the pier turn right and travel along the seafront for approximately ¾ mile. The road forks but stay on the main road for another 300m or so. Take the next LH turn into Ardmory Road. Drive up the hill for approximately 200m and we are the large white house on the left.

Check-in
Check-in between is from 2.30pm – 6.00pm (other times by prior arrangement please).
Check-out is by 11am.

Cancellation
More than 14 days prior to arrival date –  loss of your deposit.
Within 14 days of arrival date – 100% of total cost.
We will gladly give you a refund (less a £10 administration fee) if we are able to re-let your room.
We would recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover any loss due to unforeseen cancellation.

Children
Children under 4 can stay for free if sharing a room with one or more adults. (We have a travel cot)
Children aged 4-12 are charged at £15 per night if sharing a room with one or more adults.

Smoking
Munro’s has a strictly no smoking policy, however smokers are welcome to use
the garden.

Dogs
We accept well behaved dogs. We ask that you bring bedding and feed and water your pet in the en-suite on the tiled floor. Please do not leave your pet alone in your room or bring it into the public rooms. There is a field and woods beside the house for walking.
